Sound Therapy
What is sound?
Sound is frequency, waves of vibration. Sound is vibration. Therefore vibration and sound can be calming and relaxing. Many cultures around the world have used sound or instruments for hundreds of years. In the West music is listened to. What does each song or sound that one listens to reflect on their mind and body? When one is tired and had a hard day at work they may listen to calmer relaxing music. So those who want to listen to calm sounds will automatically breathe slower and decrease heart rate therefore changing breathing pattern. One who is ready for an exciting evening may listen to sounds that are more up beat. Thus allowing the heart rate to beat faster and allowing the body system to be a natural energetic stimulant.
How can sound support well-being?
Sound therapy can support well-being when one is suffering from pain, feeling low, in need of relaxation, is stressed or even wanting a better sleep pattern. The vibration through each instrument used in this therapy can bring a transformation of wellness. There is a formula for wellness in the treatments offered. The sound vibrations can help restore sleep, bring calmness reducing stress and many children can benefit from sound therapy too.
Sound therapy is available to bring the correct vibration in the physical body and mind.
